Inspired by the musical Eternity, the drawing imagines a moment that could never exist: Kuiper and Bluedot, two musicians separated by decades, sitting together. Between them sits Murmur, the personification of time, who connects their otherwise irreconcilable worlds. I wanted to capture the musical’s message that even without ever meeting, two people can save one another through music, offering comfort and a brief place to rest across time.
